A secure garden is a must for any dog!

You cannot trust a dog to not wander off even the best of dogs will go exploring and can meet with all kinds of danger, hit by a car, stolen, lost or if he gets into trouble by worrying livestock he could be shot.

Remember it is illegal to let your dog wander.

Making the investment of fencing in your garden insures many years of happiness with your pet!

Other safeguards include making sure your dog is always wearing a collar and identity tag with your phone number on it. The modern way to make your dog identifiable is to have it microchipped. The microchip is a small device the size of a grain of rice that is inserted under the dog’s skin. Each chip has a unique number that allows it to be registered with data bases throughout Ireland. If you dog is lost or stolen, ownership can be proven by scanning the microchip and looking up your information in the data base.

Your animal can then be reunited with you.

Please make sure that your pet is registered to you on a data base.

Attention to all people in Co Tipperary, a lot of dogs are going missing and are presumed stolen and they are being taken from secure gardens and yards.

So please watch your dogs, if you work make sure a neighbour/relation/friend is keeping an eye on your beloved animals.

Go Forward With Courage

When you are in doubt, be still and wait;

when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.

So long as mists envelop you, be still;

be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists as it surely will.

Then act with courage.
